Inline Hockey
Something that a lot of people do not know about is how good the SRU Inline Hockey team is this year. And if you didn't even know we had one; now you do. This is my second year playing for the club and I must say it is already the fastest growing club I have even been a part of at SRU. Last year we had 3 teams, anywhere from 8 to 12 people per team plus a goalie. Our top team last year was ranked top in the area for colligate inline hockey teams, and our 'travel' team goes to Harrisburg or Philly for tournaments a few weekends each semester. This year, the club has grown to 5 teams with approximately 10 to 12 players per team plus a goalie, and is sure to be even better then we were last year.

3 hours class
I realize that by now everyone has had at least one class that was near 3 hours long in their college life. And when trying to study for this 3 hour class it feels like your head is pounds and it feels like no matter what you read and no matter how long you read it for, you never seem to remember it when the test comes around. I've learned through various psychology classes that your brain can gain and process new information for a 15 minutes period before it needs a break. Common sense tells us that because of this, we should only study for a 15 minute period of time and take a break before continuing. What this dosent explaine is why do we have 3 hour long classes is subjects like anatomy, for example, when after 10 minutes of class you are already lost and confused with all the anatomical terms. I feel that teachers and professors of college should know this fact, that a brain can process new info for 15 minutes before you SHOULD get a break, and that somebody should do something about hte fact that all 3 hour classes do are frustrate students or put them to sleep.

More Commuter Parking on Campus Isn't Needed.
For those who don't know, the Union parking lot is strickly commuter parking. As for the parking lot right next to it, behind Building E, was strickly on-campus parking. 'Was' being the key word here. I'm not sure who decided to make the dicision, but there is now a few rows of commuter parking that took the place of the on campus parking in that lot. I recall so many time there was not enough room in that lot, nor any other lot around campus near the resident halls, so the stadium lot was the last option. I know it isn't a FAR walk from the staduim, but in the pouring rain or with negative temperatures and snow it really is frustrating and annoying.

New Intramural Fields?
I'm sure you have all seen the new intramural fields that SRU has paid 1.3 million dollars to have put in over the hill behind Building F. To be perfectly honest, I have never heard one complaint about 'not having enough room for intramural sports'. Besides being an extra 10-15 minute walk farther away from campus, is there really a need for 2 more softball fields and 4 extra soccer/football fields? Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, I believe there are plenty of fields everywhere from around the ARC and near the Field House to even a short walk to near the Equestrian Center, which has another softball field and 3 soccer fields right next to it.
I feel like our school should be putting that money towards more important things like fixing roads littered with potholes, or better repair to the building that they are currently working on now. Oh, and the lights? I know that intramural sports aren't going to be played at night. That was just a waste.
